Meghan Trainor Wirth was born in and grew up in Twin Falls, Idaho, where she learned to love the outdoors with her family. She earned her B.S. in Biology at the College of Idaho in 1999 and went on to be a fire effects monitor and fire crew member in Glacier National Park. She loved Montana so much that she stayed and went to MSU in Bozeman for a master’s degree in Land Resources and Environmental Sciences, where her research focused on invasive plant ecology in Northwestern Montana. Meghan works as a project biologist for NewFields, an environmental consulting firm. She and her husband, Greg, have two children attending Jefferson Elementary. Meghanstarted as a parent volunteer on the Art Gala PlanningCommittee. She has a passion for introducing kids to the beauty of nature and enjoys trail running, downhill and Nordic skiing,camping, and rafting with family and friends.
